Rick Santor-dumb Has Lost His Damn Mind

In this video, Rick Santorum pretty much proved to me that he has no idea what he's talking about. He talks about the fact that he is anti-abortion in every situation, including rape. He believes that women that have been raped should want to keep their child because they should be able to make the best out of a bad situation. The point was made that the child could ruin the woman's life; Santorum responded by saying that aborting the baby could possibly ruin the woman's life because she will always know that she killed her child. That's a very weak argument being that in this case the woman didn't have a choice in getting pregnant and may have not wanted a child nor been able to raise a child. My thoughts are that it wouldn't be easy to raise a child that would be a constant reminder of a traumatizing event in your life. I wonder is Santorum is planning on paying for those women to receive the type of mental help that they may need to cope with that difficult situation.

He even went as far as to say that he wouldn't let one of his own daughters get an abortion. Yet his wife had a life saving procedure that resulted in the loss of a fetus. According to his beliefs, his wife should have been charged with a crime even though it was to save her life. The hypocrisy that this guy exudes is sickening.

The thing about these pro-life politicians is that they scream save the babies at the top of their lungs, but once the baby is born they do everything to avoid taking care of the child. They cut funding for food programs, insurance, and education. How can you tell someone to keep a baby if you are not prepared to help them with that child? I don't believe in abortion when people use it as a contraceptive method. I do believe that in certain situations such as rape or life-saving procedures, it should be allowed.

Santorum's views are very extreme and I have no idea how he even says them with a straight face. He has tunnel vision on the issue and that is never a good thing. The fact that he's selfish enough to think that he should know what a women that has been raped should feel or think is utterly disgusting to me.
