MOMMY-TO-BE

One of the things I am looking forward to this year is being a mom for the first time. I was always one of those people that said I never wanted kids, now I cant imagine how I could have ever felt that way.

Since I am going to be a first-time mom, it fills me with excitement and a bit of nervousness. I can't wait until I am able to hold him in my arms for the first time.On or before February 15th, he will finally be here. Seeing him during the ultrasounds makes me realize that I am giving life to someone else and that, that is a very precious and selfless thing to do.I wonder how he's going to look and what kind of personality he's going to have. I think of all the cute little outfits I want to dress him in and all the songs I want to sing to him. The whole idea of labor freaks me out, but I know that it is all part of bringing him into this world.


My parents helped me become the person that I am today. They weren't perfect, as no one's parents are, but what they did definitely effected me in a positive way. I only hope that I can do that much for my son, as well as do more.


Another special part of it is that I get to share my first child experience with someone that I truly love. It's very important that I'm having a child with someone that is as excited and concerned as I am. I couldn't have chosen anyone better to experience this with. 






Bottom line is: I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL HE'S HERE
